Staff privacy policy

Updated 2026-09-18

This policy describes how El Barrio Burritos handles information in its staff scheduling and messaging app.

Information we keep

The staff app stores contact details, notification choices, consent records, schedules, work activity, messages and delivery information. It also records account and device information used for sign-in, security and app notifications.

How we use it

We use this information to run staff scheduling, communicate about work, keep a record of changes and replies, deliver notifications and protect accounts. Managers can access staff records appropriate to their role.

Who can see it

Messages and work information are shown to authorized staff according to their role and conversation membership. Group participants can see shared replies and, for native text groups, participants’ phone numbers. Service providers process data needed to host the app and deliver messages.

Mobile numbers and text consent

We do not sell mobile numbers or share text-message opt-in records for advertising or unrelated marketing. Messaging providers and carriers may process the information necessary to operate this staff messaging program. Your permission for staff texts does not enroll you in customer promotions.

Records and security

Access to staff records is restricted by account permissions. Consent, messages and work activity may remain in the staff history after notifications are turned off. Contact your manager to request a correction or discuss access and deletion; some records may need to be retained for business or legal purposes.

Your controls

You can change your notification choices in the staff app and reply STOP to opt out of texts from the business number. Turning off texts does not delete existing staff records or messages already received by group participants.

Contact

For staff messaging or privacy questions, contact your manager at El Barrio Burritos or call 718-576-6611.
